Black R, red bridge

Just thought I'd share a photo from my ride last Saturday along the left coast for all of you snowed in east coasters. It was a good day to ride.

Michael,

That's a great picture! I have a question for you, what type of topcase is that, a Givi? I'm starting to look into one for mine and that one looks pretty nice on your bike.

Tao,
I did that same ride two Saturdays ago... On my mountain bike! All the way to the top of Hawk Hill and then that exhilarating downhill back down to the bridge. The weather couldn't have been better! (Just rubbing it in you snowbound east-coasters!) It's time to start planning another NCal ride...

Michael...great picture...even the sparkle off the tank.

If I ever get to San-Fran I've got to check that spot out.

Thanks guys for the comments and sorry to rub it in (the weather out here), Den.

Dwayne,
Yes, the top box is a Givi - the E280 (28 liters). Just big enough for a helmet and light jacket or in my case, a digital camera with a few lenses packed in foam. I looked at a BMW topcase but this one was 1/3 the price.

Toner,
That's a good climb on a bicycle! Yes, we need to do another NorCal ride soon.

DJ,
Knowing you, if you ever made it out to the GG Bridge, you'd manage to get a photo of your bike on the cables...you amaze me with the places you get your bike to for a photo.

Michael, Hope you don't mind but I have a top box question, I just received a Givi very much like yours (E33) i was wondering what type of mount you used. This may have been answered in a previous post but I could not find it. Thanks Den

Den,

I've answered your question in a new thread, posted in the R1150R forum.
