newbie question: Givi sidecases on a 1994 R1100R

hi everyone!
i'm new here, i was trying to find some answers on whether it is possible to have givi sidecases fitted on my R1100R. to be honest, i couldn't find a decisive answer to that, sounds like there is some options but one must have some ohter mounting racks installed first or something. has anyone tried to do that? i have two e45 cases, and so i was thinking one could go as top case and the other as one of the sidecases (right side i guess:). but i don't even know where to start, what should i get/install first? i wasn't able to find any mounting kits for givi's for the R1100R anywhere, do they make them at all? each webpage says something different . any answers or comments would be greatly appreciated!

If you cannot find mounting information on Givi's web site, I would email the company.

I think they have been discontinued. I had a set on an R850R (same rear frame), but found they made the rear of the bike very w-i-d-e.

You may find a used GIVI kit, but I suggest the OEM system cases.

The Givi experts are in NC. 1 877 679 4484.

Why not look for a set of used BMW system cases. They look a lot better than any of the givi stuff, and you can find them for a decent deal online.

that's what i'm looking at right now, the givi thing is just too complicated, i can get a set of bmw cases for ~250 euro, so i guess that's what i'll go for. thanks!!
