Look what I found on the side of the road today...

Post by DJ Downunder »

I was out riding today on a beautiful sunny Saturday here in Melbourne..and look what I came across on the side of the road..

Prozac... :D ....Prozac Choppers...the local custom chopper guys that would give the OCC guys a run for their money.

I stopped to see whats going on...just one of the bikes had broken down..a hydraulic problem with the rear suspension.

I took some pics for you guys..just in case anyone's into choppers..I gotta admit...they where nice.

Choppers

Post by Simon D »

Good Grief

All that time/money/detailing (in my view) wasted!

Nice neighbourhood though, those bungalows could be anywhere in southern England.

Except the sun is shining!

You must be able to "draw" your camera faster than a Wild West gunslinger could his "six shooter"

DJ - some great pics. I would certainly classify the chops as nice artwork. Not sure though that I would want to spend all day riding one though! And I suspect you would be looking for petrol stations very frequently on those.

I am insanely and bitterly jealous of your nice weather! We only have about 6-7" of snow on the ground where I live!

Na, the silver shield actually ties into the engine, and takes the focus off the beak/fender. Wonder is it smooths airflow???

As for choppers, I'm a anti-chopper. I've become this way once all of my motorcycle shows have been taken over by chopper shows. Bikes should be about mostly go, leave the mostly show for the car guys or pathetic bad boy wannabes.

Hey... :o ...leave the radical chopper guys alone. The more of those guys on the road the better. I'm pretty sure even a rider of my limited abilities could take those bikes in the twisties. Especially if the guy tries to use that gold plated hand shifter in mid-turn.

Those pointy fender-like things over the rear tire frighten me. I can just see someone sliding back under acceleration and then thrown back forward...Get the picture? OUCH!

I like the crotch remover $ sign thing on the red bike. Sure would hurt going over the front.

DJ, that neighborhood looks exactly the San Fernando valley suburb of LA. Weather looks like our current sunny skies too. I was sweating today watching my son's soccor game.

You would absolutely hafta tuck your shirt in on the bike with the single sided swing arm, and castraitor fender.

here in the UK the only people who ever have those things on a vehicle are the truckers.
