Gord,

I use Etymotic er6i isolator in-ear headphones. They block outside noise, like good earphones, and they have good sound quality.

I also use this little volume control from Radio Shack

Oh yeah, the EZ Pass. I forgot about that, if you want to call it an upgrade.

I never stop to pay a toll now. It is great.

Get the external type and mount it to the forks, hidden under the front beak.

2) System city cases with added bottom retainer pins.
3) Daytona LCD crankcase (oil) temp gauge.
4) Sigma Sport BC-800 speed/time/distance computer.
5) K1200RS mirrors.

6) Magellan RoadMate 300 GPS.
7) GS HandGuards in Winter.

There's more than 11, but I'm bragging too much already.

upgrades

1) Bill Mayer glossy black leather seat
2) RAM mount (hydraulic brake fluid resevoir) for Escort 8500 X50 radar detector
3) Signal Minders
4) BMW Atlantis III leathers if that counts

I have the system case rails for soft luggage traveling but I have not had those on all summer. I will probably never buy the hard system cases as I cant stand the way they look.

rdsmith3 - I have the SkiFi2 unit with a car kit (which I mounted temporarily in my wife's car for a trip, then removed) and the boombox for the office. I don't really want to buy another unit and pay another monthly fee for a Roady. Have you seen any mounting kits for the SkyFi units? I have seen some cool ones for the Roady but none for the SkyFi2.

I had thought about mounting a clear top Pelican box with a Ram mount and drilling then sealing holes for the wires. I don't care about access to the controls that much. 175 stations and I listen to Deep Tracks 40 90% of the time anyway. :?
