Here is some good info on the 10% Ethanol in our fuel (USA) and the scary, expensive damage it can cause. The bike in question is an R1200R.

Here is the stuff I use. It protects from Ethanol related corrosion and fuel line degradation above and below the fuel level.

And the EPA is mandating E15!
I found a product that have been using for a couple of years called Liquid Performance.
My bike runs great on this stuff.
I really noticed the power delivery on my vintage 84 Honda, which in no way is set up for Ethanol.

Non ethanol gas is making a comeback as people start to learn about the damage this stuff is causing.
There is a Dandy's in central PA, that rebuilt a station with a single new pump called "91 Performance" non ethanol gas.
Motorcycle were lined up to get it, at 3 bucks a gallon, 40 cents a gallon more than the ethanol variety.

Freedom is dangerous. Those in power that steal freedom are more dangerous.

Can't recall how I learned about this, but useful info and associated iOS app:
http://www.pure-gas.org
Put my S1000 up for the winter with full tank of ethanol-free fuel, after running through half tank of same. Rockster gets winter riding duty and will suffer through the E10 until something breaks.

In Ontario Canada, (not sure about the rest of the country) Shell premium is ethanol free.
