Windscreen

Post by 74rider »

So I was out adjusting the angle of my windscreen last night when I realized it was mounted to the same bolts that angle my headlight. I'd like to avoid this if possible and get something mounted to the handlebars. Or fix this one so it stays put. The windscreen I have looks just like this.

Has anyone had the same problem and what was done to resolve?

Never seen one like that. Mine is attached to the underside of triple clamp (i.e. the bit that connects the 'forks' together and NOT to the handlebars.
That fairing does LOOK nice though.

Thanks, I do like the way it looks but what you have sounds more like what I may be looking for. Do you have any pics or can you tell me the brand?

To be honest these photographs show the fairing IS attached to the top yoke already. Is it also fixed to the headlight bolts as well?

That's a Givi screen. I used to have one. Don't remember the model # though.

Here is my screen. It is a BMW brand fly/sport screen and has a similar steering yoke fixing to yours.
