There is a new Haynes manual covering the twin cam models. Full title:
BMW R1200 Dohc Air-cooled Service and Repair Manual: 2010-2012 (Haynes Service and Repair Manuals) [Hardcover]
Phil Mather (Author)
Just received mine from Amazon UK but is no longer in stock. Nippynormans also sell it.
Seems to be up to the usual high Haynes standard and includes wiring diagrams.

Re: Haynes manual R1200R/GS/RT
Thanks for the heads up. Amazon doesn't have it in the US yet, but a seller called The Book Depository does, so I bought it from them.
Re: Haynes manual R1200R/GS/RT
Would you please post the ISBN number for the R1200 DOHC Haynes repair manual. Tks
Re: Haynes manual R1200R/GS/RT
Mine arrived today. I'm very impressed with the quality. In the past, I've always used the BMW service CD to do my maintenance. While the BMW service manual is nice, it's sometimes a little too thorough (to the point of ridiculous) and reads like IKEA assembly instructions. The Haynes manual addresses things in a much more concise and accessible fashion. I'll probably still end up referring to both, but it's instantly obvious how valuable an addition the Haynes manual is to my library.

Online Haynes manual
Has anyone any experience of the online version of the manual? Looks like a neat idea with video demos etc, but I wonder how well it's executed.
Re: Haynes manual R1200R/GS/RT
Haven't used online manuals yet, but the idea is interesting. I'm an analog sort of guy, but the digital approach does have advantages. One year subscription is kind of pricey at $49.99 while the lifetime subscription for one publication is a bargain at $54.99, especially if Haynes ever updates any of the information and videos. Only available for the R1200R up to 2009 year model. DOHC version is not available yet. Zoom feature with 750 high definition color photos may be advantageous. The book is mostly B&W, although wiring diagrams are color. Book lists for $45.95, but I only paid about thirty USD from NippyNorman's. The hardbound print is a little bit small without my bifocals and a good light. If you're the kind of mechanic who always carries his laptop into the service bay, perhaps this is for you. Worlwide access is another big advantage.
