Owner Manual R1150R

Dear All,

I'm the new owner of R1150R - 2002, live in Jakarta - Indonesia
I'm not familiar with this bike, so I need a owner manual for this bike.
Allready try to find out in Motorrad site, but they only provide R1200R - 2004 and up

If any one have a copy, PDF file I preffer, it will be very usefull for me

I do not know why you want the owner manual; however, the booklets that come with the bike are extremely simplistic. You could easily create your own owner's maintenance book.

If you are looking for a guide on repairs, the Clymer manual is a very good book. You may be able to find one on eBay, but they are also available new. Jim Von Baden makes and sells DVDs for working on the R1150s (GS and R). That could also be useful.

Glad that you got a copy. I haven't found them to be too useful, but it can't hurt to have it. And now, you do. The fact that someone on the site has scanned it and made it available to others is one of the things I love about this site and the members.

Sorry, that link is dead now, four years later. Anybody got that file for me? Or maybe 2004 R1150R Owner's Manual? I'm realizing that after a few years there are still things I'm not 100% clear on how they operate on this bike, so at least one good read-through couldn't hurt.

P.S. BMW's site only has the R1200 and newer files available for download.

bought mine on amazon for 20 bucks. never found one online i felt like purchasing. I like having the book in my toolbox. then the internet for backup.
