Low RPM surge

Low RPM surge
I am noticing a surge and uneven throttle response at low RPM and speed (like put putting around the rally grounds) on my R12R. It runs great at speed and in the twisties. Its a 2010 with just over 5000 miles. Could this be a valve/TB sync issue or is it part of the "character" of the bike.

Re: Low RPM surge
Jose - dunno if you put the 5,000 miles on the bike - but it's basically part of the "character" of the bike. I use an O ring behind the bar-end-weight to damp the throttle action a bit (making it basically neutral). You'll find as you become comfortable with the bike you learn to trust it at very low RPMs (torque is NICE!) that you might be uncomfortable with on other bikes.

Re: Low RPM surge
I have put all 5000 miles on the bike but didn't really notice it until riding 5-10 mph at the MOA Rally. Thanks
