Indianapolis Riders?

Post by Naptown_Rider »

Are there any Indianapolis riders out there? If so hit me up on an email at matthew.kelly(At)sscinc.com

As long as its dry and not Too cold I'm riding regularly. I inhabit the near eastside village of irvington, 10 minutes from everything.

Matt, My office is next to the city market, but fortunately I rarely have to go there  However, I live about 1/2 mile from Brown county so if you want to ride in the hills pm me here. I have to work this Saturday and Sunday is not looking great but the weather may hold for a while. Keith

I have family on the north side of Indy, and I plan on being out next spring/summer. I'll ping you guys for a meet-up. Would love to explore Brown County on the Roadster.

met up with some of the Indy BMW riders today, here's their site: http://indybmwclub.webs.com/

seems like a good bunch of guys and girls. it was a nice laid back breakfast.

I did feel a bit young as everyone was mostly retired, what's up with that, can young guys not like BMW's?

what's wrong with that!

Matt but my friends call me Kelly

I've never made that meet up, and always thought @ 50 I'd be the youngster based on what I've seen on their website and other indicators. Did ya'll go for a ride after breaky? Turned out to be a decent day but I had to work. Probably ride this afternoon if I get all my priojects knocked out first.

while this warm weather persists i've been squeezing in as much riding as possible. Considering i put only 2k on a car a year the bike is way over that. Not bad i think!

Hope you guys are out on yours as well. God i love this bike. I want ten of them.

I have met only a few of the Indy BMW club members, but when I manage to ride over to Indianapolis from Cincinnati for the Saturday morning breakfasts at Shapiro's, I am always welcomed and treated like one of the family. It is a great club. I manage to get there a couple of times a year, and then of course, head over to the Indy BMW dealer, who is usually at the breakfast. They welcome me in even though I'm riding a V-Strom 650.

David, Finally got your pm, Doug must have turned off the notification thingy. Check your pm's and the review thread I put up earlier. Good luck, Keith
