Re: Red one..
I'd suggest not trying this if you have the black-w/white pinstriped (fast) model. The R1200R decal IS under the clearcoat. It would be quite the mess if you managed to get it to start coming off..websterize wrote:After a long ride on a hot day or a few minutes under a hair dryer, they should peel away easily with a fingernail. Then I'd wash the tank and apply some Klasse All-in-One or the like. I've grown accustomed to the stickers and have not tried removing mine.

True - But, not being loyal to any particular motorcycle marque I'll admit that the Harley Night Train was on my short list when I was bike shopping in 2007. The Beemer won out, but I'd still like one of those big black retro bikes in the garage someday.fastdogs2 wrote:"Night Train"

Re: Red one..
Harley doesn't really consider the Night Train retro. It has all of their latest wizardry.
I'm just sayin'.

Re: Red one..
IMHO - all Harleys (except the V-Rod) are retro. Not a dig just IMHO.

Re: Red one..
I do like the look of certain Harleys. They have a way of designing motorcycles which have a mechanical beauty all their own. Its just when I sit on one or hear one, I do not want one with one exception. The new V-Rod, if I was a motorcycle collector, would be in my garage.
Has anyone seen an R with no stickers and no tank BMW badge? Maybe a mini farkle to smooth out the spot where the BMW badge was?
