R1150r

Post by kolwer »

I was hit by a car 6 weeks ago, after spending two wheels in hospital I am home recovering from a broken collar bone, 4 broken ribs and a broken leg, fixed with a rod. I had to get a skin graph as the wound on my leg was just to big.(by the way I was wearing a Dainese suit, Arai Helmet and TSX boots and Lookwell gloves, If not for that don't think I will be writing this now....that being said I am grateful on a second lease on life.)
Please be safe out there, a lot of crazy drivers out there!

I need the following parts:
Left rider foot peg and foot peg plate
Fuel Tank
both seats
Tail light
Blinkers
Mirrors
Break lever

If you any of these parts please let me your asking price.

kolwer - sorry to hear about your unfortunate accident. I am glad to hear you're still wanting to get back on. I don't have any parts myself but I have seen where an R1150R is being parted out on ebay - just search "R1150R" and there's a list of tons of individual parts. Otherwise. www.beemerboneyard.com is a good source.

Sorry to hear about your accident and hope you make a quick and complete recovery. You're a walking advertisement for why the right gear is important.

I have a Piemonte red fuel tank in very good shape but with a small dent - PM me if interested.

I've got (both) side footpegs and mounting plates - I replaced mine with
GS brackets, pegs, shifter & brake levers to move the pegs down and
forward. Let me know exactly what U need.

[email protected]

It'll be about 10 days b-4 I get home and can ship (getting laid off so a little
home time - I work construction projects usually too far from home to
go home every nite or even every weekend), send me an address

EDIT - just noticed you've got a Ducati - my son in law rides a Monster,
loves it. Wild sounding machine with exhaust mods!

I have a front seat if you need one still.

It has about 20k on it (no cuts or tears to speak of).

Standard height (not low or high).
