Re: Centre Stand wanted UK buyer
You may find that some of the bolts and brackets are already on your bike, I would talk to the guys at Motorworks and ask them to have a look at the ebay item, they may be able to supply the missing parts.

Re: Centre Stand wanted UK buyer
Well guys won the centre stand on Ebay, just need to find out what bits it comes with.
Hank,
I have a diagram of the centre stand on how to remove it so hopefully that will help if I have to get some more fitting parts.
Could somebody out there give me a idea of where the stand fits, would be great if I could get some really good close-ups of a stand fitted.

Check the parts fiche for your bike at the site below, it will give you everything you might need still.

Sorry about that Kevan, I have looked long for a stand as well. The seller was not too forth coming so I don't know what will come with the stand, a good paint will be called for though.
So another Rockster owner in Scotland, maybe we can get a group meet up next year at the Green Wellie or someplace.
Boxermania,
I have looked on the site, thanks for the link. It shows the stand with a lot of fixings. I have seen a link, which unfortunately was a little small of how to remove the centre stand, which shows a few less parts.
If there is anybody out there that has a large view of this procedure then a link to it would be gratefully received.

Hi Andrew & Old Crockster
Just remembered a guy called Metal Ken in Gorebridge, he breaks Beemers and builds custom bikes. Could be worth a phone call, his number is 07821 818 605, and his web site is
http://streetfighterken.services.office ... fault.aspx
Would love to meet up with you guys at the Wellie if you don't mind a plain old R1150R joining the party.
Hank.

As for a meet in the summer I'd be up for that, I haven't actually seen another Rockater on the road
in Scotland and I've had mine since 2003. I know the guy who does my MOT does another in the same month but never actually
seen it. I live in Irvine incidently.......and yes Hank would be good to meet you at the Wellie too
Cheers Kevan
Re: Centre Stand wanted UK buyer
Hank,
Thanks for the link, will look into it.
I would be happy to organise a meet up next year, any bike would be welcome.
Kevan,
I have seen a few Rocksters on the road, followed one through Crossford this year whilst out for a cycle, one of the reasons I bought one, as it looked really good.
Stroll on the good weather, well we all know it wont be till next April now (well in Scotland).

Hi Hank,
The stand came with all the fixings, so after a bit of figuring out I got it fitted.
Yes a meet up at the Welly for next year would be great.

Re: Centre Stand wanted UK buyer
Just ordered a centre stand and assembly parts for my ROC.
A year without one was driving me crazy.
Do you have any assembly tips?
Thanks chris
