it was a short trip but I was loaded up. I had to go work at another station for the shift. The side hard cases work great. The bmw tank bag works great too. My duffel bag was clipped to the bike with its shoulder strap. When I get a little money together I am going to replace the eddie bauer duffel with one of the north face duffels that are water proof and with a high visibility colour.

Helen 2 Wheels waterproof duffels, bags, etc. A more flexible option than a top case.
Marsee tank bag with Corona mount (quick disconnect). This is nice because nothing touches painted surface of tank.

Wunderlich throttle lock - a tremendous wrist saver!
If you are camping, a Kermit Chair is nice.
