but since i sad i i'll get some impressions on 'paper", lemme try that now:
1st impression: (miles 0-50): yeah baby!! sweeeeet ... i love you too
2nd impression: (50-100 miles): damn it, this seat is too high! I am tippy-toeing on one foot, with my ass hanging off. Bill Mayer touring saddle, high. But I'm only 5:6. A bmw low seat should fix that. Preload on minimum. Helps a little. Stoplights are still stressful. But once we get going it's love again.
3rd impression: 50-250? : hit some canyons... yeeeee... yeah.. ye... wait a minute... this is weird.. bouncy... uhmm... wtf... is this IT??? .. can't be... oh noo.. i hope not.

uhmmm,, lemme check that damping I adjusted earlier

aaaaah !! the OTHER left. There ya go! oh yes, a lot better. I still love you.
4th impression: back in the canyons... uuuuh, that engine is really sticking out.. i'm afraid to lean it... something is still not right with the suspension... feels mushy and wobbly.. no, not the damping... maybe it's just me not being used to it.... ooh, finally the tank is empty.. lemme fill up ... hey, why don't I check the tire pressure too, since it's free.... wow!

25/25 psi !! no wonder it wanders!... back in the canyons... big improvement, that was IT! problem fixed. Engine is not sticking out so much either
500mile conclusion: awesome awesome bike, I'm glad I got it. I made the right choice. Can't wait to get my low seat though.
Well, thanks for having me here. Looks like a cool "community".
