OK , here they are...the first 12 great photos you have submitted.

I have put them in the order I think they should appear in the calendar . The first and last photos are what I propose to use for the front and rear covers hence there are actually 14 photos in this selection. Happy viewing.

Come on Rocket, your picture is great. Surely it would displace someone who is over-represented in your gallery...

And finally, ladies and gentlemen, the remaining 35 fabulous R1200R photos from around the world....

...you can see why over the last couple of weeks it has been very difficult to select just 12. My sincere thanks to all who have submitted photos. There are some truly stunning pictures , and it has been great fun for me collating the material.

A small number of contributors still have to submit their photos and I would urge you to press on with this. I will wait until tomorrow evening for any last minute pictures before starting to create a personalised calendar with the best 12 shots.

Once again , many thanks to all forum members from around the world who have participated in the project so far.

This is what I call "livin it".....

Rocket,
That was a great idea. The pics are a visual treat. Thanks for putting in the time. It makes me wish I'd had any good pictures of my own bike, and it gives me the urge to go on a ride right now.

Danka Herr Harald.
R1200R shots from the beautiful Bavaria would be something. Perhaps next next you are in the homeland...

Hello everybody !
I´ve been reading this forum since I bought the R1200R, (two years by now) but so far have had nothing say. So now, over several weeks not checking, discovered you have an interesting global project going on. And decided I need to leave my footprint too, at least to your list of countries, of where R1200R´s can be seen around... that is Estonia, in my example. Yes, such place really exists - located in northern Europe. A really small one...
Picture wise, I´ve got the feeling that you allready have enough... But if there is some more room, I could perhaps make some tomorrow and upload somewhere...

regards,
Hanno

Howdy!
I understand that Estonia is a lovely country, although I have not had the chance to visit there yet.
But Estonia will always be in my memory as the place of Joey Dunlop's unfortunate and untimely demise. :smt009
He is sorely missed by all that love motorcycle racing. (and he was a great humanitarian and family man as well)
Anyway, welcome to the group!!! 8)

Hi Hanno,
I am glad the project has stirred you to put Estonia on the map. I was beginning to think BMW only sold the R12 to 7 countries. You are very welcome and it is not too late to send in a photo (Please send a copy to me by PM . Alternatively, I can give you my email)

Welcome to the project!

Yes, unfortunately this is true, the accident really happen in here. I pass the accident place almost each day... Despite of that sad fact, the country is quite motorcycling-friendly and bikes with UK licence plates are not rare in our daily traffic ... so welcome !

Hi, Ron !
Yes, they have sold a few in here, 5 bikes in total, as much as I know. But considering the population, it makes one R1200R per approx 260 000 person, and that in not so bad, compared to US for example :)

Anyhow, thank you for the welcomness, and the album link is sent to you by th PM

Thanks! I think the photo was taken in very late October last year, so November is a fitting month for it.
