The place that used to make them is no longer in business and might only respond to a group buy...I'd be interested.

I'd be interested, too, if there's a group buy.

The Kugler Klamps.
Says he'd consider a production run for a minimum of 12 pre-paid sets...

So what does one kit comprise (i.e., how many cases and/or lids are equipped by one kit)?

One kit takes care of two pairs of lids, e.g. sufficient to switch between City lids and regular lids...
Although if it were a special order, and you need enough parts for three pairs of lids, they may accommodate the request...alternatively you could split a set with someone who has the same issue.

I've written to Karl Kugler to see if he'd fill a one-off group buy order...and cost details...let's see if he replies.

They seem pretty inexpensive, and I'm getting tired of all the little nut/bolts when swapping lids. I'm in if we get enough together for a group buy.

This clamp kit really makes it super easy to change the lids. I have had them for three years and don't think twice about changing the lids to go grocery shopping. I would like a thrid set so I'll gladly split a set with someone.

Still wondering how many sets I'd need.
To be frank, I only have the regular cases (left and right sides). I'd like to get the city lids and then be able to swap the lids.
How many sets of the quick-release latches (i.e., how many kits or sets) would I need (seems like 1 or 2) to handle both left and right cases?
Thanks and continue to count me in for a set (or two, depending on how many I'll need).

DMM,
that would be 1 set to take care of two cases and four lids.

I will get a set too ... if anyone is willing to ship my set to UK (at my cost) and accepts Paypal.
I do not care what colour they are.

Cheers

If the original munufacturer does not want to get involved - is there an alternative product?

Cheers
