Holy @#$%@#, what the @#$@%# are we doing in this country? So the government is going to borrow another $8 Bil from the Fed and pay interest on it, that we're going to pay with our taxes.

Kudos to the companies who wouldn't forgive their debt under government pressure...

The government is going into the car business?

Fiat is going to teach them to make better cars? How about making them half the size and putting a 3-cylinder engine in it? There, I could pull the entire auto industry out of it's slump with that advice... I should be a @#$@#%@#$ consultant... ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)

Apparently it's the only way to do business... #-o

Tell you what, we have a bigger problem than Chrysler going Bankrupt... our leaders are bankrupt in the common sense department...

Now there's an idea  ... Why doesn't the government declare bankruptcy, and ask all the nations we owe money to, to forgive our debt. We'll ask the Fed Reserve to wipe out all the debt... Problem solved. Why didn't I think of that sooner?

Wait... wait... I got another one... Why is Chrysler going bankrupt? Cause we don't want to buy their cars... So... the GOVERNMENT should buy all the cars they make... THAT'S IT! What's the government going to do with all those cars? Just crush em. Think of all the jobs that would create. In fact, forget the cars, just stop making them, but pay everyone as if they were still making cars; the CEO, the employees, the suppliers, their suppliers. It will be a completely virtual company, but everyone that works for them will get paid in REAL cash. Eureka :!: :!: :!: :!:

I AM a @#$@%@# genius...

Ya Ves, when most people would avoid putting money into a business when it is going down, we have CHOSEN to give them money so they can go down. I must have stepped through the looking glass a few months ago........

I really liked how the Government is going to give them another 4.~ billion while they're in bankruptcy to keep going. I think it's time for us U.S. citizens to exercise our "Right to Redress" if ya know what I mean.

BTW Ves  nice post!

As I hear it, some right wing factions are planning another tea party for the 4th of July. You know what they say in Washington Beaze, a billion here, a billion there, pretty soon your talking real money. I guess they haven't dumped enough billions to consider it to be real money yet.
