late in the riding season last yr. my bike wouldn't start in gear when you pulled in the clutch lever . it was about 25-30 deg.C ..started fine in neut. I didn't worry much & thought it might be temp related ..while putering in the shed over the snow season seems if I bentthe tang on the clutch lever micro-sw. it would start about half a dozen times in gear lever pulled in ,then not start ..asked the dealer bout it they hemmed & hawed a bit & wernt to sure (w/o the bike there I understand) after snaping off 1#4 torx bit & then gently heating up the assy w/hair dryer I managed to get the sw.out tryed a new sw. installed x-actly as old one, same-same!!! Stronger bi-focals , brighter lights &a few head scratches later I noticed that the "very tiny button" that locks the sw. in place (the other mount is a pin cast into the lever assy ) doesn't have to be secured dead ctr.!! this gives ya some adjustment on the sw.!!!
VIOLA!! as new again... I hope some one can use this 411
clutch lever micro-switch
