The r's headlight is in serious need of adjustment. It would be perfect if all I needed to see was the right shoulder of the road. I searched the forum and didn't find any info on horizontal adjustment.
The manual just states to have the dealer adjust it. I won't be able to get to the dealer's for a couple of weeks. Vertical adjustment is easy, but I see no method for horizontal. Do I actually have to have the dealer make this type of adjustment?

Re: Horizontal Adjustment- Headlight
Ummm... unless yours is a lot different (and the 2009 at the dealer's last week was the same) - all R12R headlight mount holes are not round - they're slots - running forward-backward (horizontally). Loosening the screws will allow you to rotate the headliight relative to the steering head of the bike by moving one side more forward or backwards compared to the other side.Sassa wrote:The r's headlight is in serious need of adjustment. It seems rather obvious to me, so perhaps something has changed on your bike or the screws aren't visible?
