Most definitely an R1200ST... probably why the clip ends before the view rotates around to the Cyclops front end.. I'd have bought one for sure, having come off of a R1150RS, but that front visage was just so ...Ugh!
Certainly with 28k on my '07 R1200R, I don't feel that I missed out. But the BMW project manager that stuck with the ST's design esthetic, despite what I have to imagine would have been some internal input to the contrary... Well hopefully, that individual has learned a lesson in consensus building. The shame is that from any other angle the rest of the machine presents a very attractive look, and surely it’s a reasonably competent compromise between the full naked of the R1200R and the full Plastic of the R1200RT… Maybe next design cycle will offer a suitable cosmetic remediation
