Hi Ronnie
I went the otherway
swoped a cagiva navigator (Italian Vstrom) for my rockster

the problem isnt with the brakes its just getting used to the long long travel forks

the reason I changed was the engine it was great but you had to keep it over 4k when it was so fast right up to the redline and addictive
below that mine was so lumpy especially round town it was a nightmare
even after lots of balancing of throttle bodies TRE etc
what it needed was a power commander, but to expensive for me or the bike
if yours is a new one then I think they had got it a lot better.

Strange I had a Cagiva V Raptor. I know what you mean about the throttle the early TL type engines had very different ECU's to the later and latest ones.
Tried lots before deciding on the Strom. Favourite was the Moto Morini Grandpasso.Very expensive and Italian ie unknown untried and I have been caught out before. The Strom is great value and I rate the engine/gearbox. Brakes and suspension can be sorted if they bother me.

Sorry to hear it Ronnie - but hope the new bike is everything you hope it will be. :):)

Are you selling off the "accessories" you have seperately?? If you've still got that spare tea-tray rear seat plate I'll buy it from you.... ;)
