Advice on R12R fit for 6'2" with 35" inseam

Thinking about getting an R12R. Currently ride an R12GS. I've gone to sit on the R12R but it seems that everytime I got to the dealer I wind up on a bike with the low seat. Can anyone comment on the ergos for someone my size. I know it won't be as roomy as my R12GS but I just dont want to be really cramped. It felt really cramped with the low seat. I would get the high seat and then a custom seat and a footpeg lowering kit as well. Any comments.

I'm 6'1" with 34" inseam. The bike is great (with the tall seat) and even better with the Russell custom saddle. I usually have issues with my kneecaps on long rides - but none of these problems have (ever) surfaced with the R.
So it would seem that the ergonomics are perfect for people of our build & size.

Note: I have not installed lowered footpegs on the R. I had these on my RT and they scraped constantly during spirited riding. Also, i found them to be less comfortable than the standard height pegs. Saying that, the RT was the most uncomfortable bike i have ever ridden/owned.

One addition i HAD to make was the handlebar riser. Really helped my overall position and released the pressure around my neck and shoulders.

BTW, i test rode an 08 GS a few weeks ago. It is a fantastic bike and i'm sure it would have felt even better if i could have spent a few more days with it. Though at the end of the day, the R is still the perfect bike for me...

I'm 6'4 (36" inseam) and after some modification this is now very comfortable. It came with a LOW seat, so I added a Bill Mayer Saddle, lowered the pegs and Raised the bars. Now she fits just right. Can ride all day in comfort and still fun as heck in the mountains.

I also have an '07 R1200R to go along with my MM. I ordered it with the high seat, and put a suburban machinery peg lowering kit on it. I also have the full Remus exhaust, and just added Ohlins front and rear. I'm 6'4", and comfy as can be!

When I ordered the bike, I asked for ZERO options. At the time, they had a $500 accessory promo going on, so I got the sport windscreen, center stand, and heated grips for (supposedly) free.

You just gotta get one of these. It's A LOT like the MM, only for $1000s less. It's light, handles well, and is the real sleeper in the BMW line-up.

Didnt notice you had such a complete stable. Very nice. Yeah, Im thinking about doing the RR or a Ducati Multistrada S just to go back and forth to work and for that occasional two up with my son and wife. I want something with a lower Cg than the GS, less dirt oriented, and something with the updated hex head motor. After riding my GS coming off the Mega she seems like a pig even though shes pretty quick with the remus header and wunderlich computer I added. The only reason I got the GS is cause the hex head RR was not available in 2005. Do you see a lot of overlap between the mega and RR, I know the RR has a much more plush ride and you tend to sit more in the bike as opposed to on the bike with the MM.

Yeah...very similar in my opinion. My favorite is the one I happen to be riding at the time.
One definite advantage with the RR is you have double the fuel range as the MM.

I'm 6'2" with ~34" inseam and fit very comfortably on the standard height R1200R with the standard seat. I actually find my riding position to be perfect, including both bars and pegs.
