It was a great morning to go fast and find the twisty roads...until I found the mother of all potholes and was not able to deviate from my path to avoid it.
The tire did not loose inflation, and I don't notice any high speed vibrations but there is definitely a hit on one side of my rim at the bead which is noticable (visually)with a slow rotation of the tire.
So this is one of those things which just bugs me...can a slight hit on the rim be fixed?
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'm not aware of any method of repairing a cast rim. Replacement is the only option I know of. A new wheel is expensive. Good luck!

Talk to the Department of Transportation in the city. See if they will reimburse you for a new wheel... raise a stink... seriously.
