Just email Christopher, he can give you the price. He told me but I have forgotten.

Thanx's for all the information. I e-mailed Chrisopter and as of now they don't have a U.S. importer, but he said to just order direct and they wood send rite out. I'm waiting to hear back on shipping. Fairing is 334.45 Euro and at todays rate, thats 525 US dollars.

I believe the Scout fairing that Harry C has on his R is about the same (or more painted), so it's not that surprising. Probably a quality product...

The scout is $499 in raw black, add $200 for matching paint. At least that is what their web site says.

The scout looks like it would afford more protection that the Wudo and the Scout has a few windscreen height options.

But on the other hand (IMO) the Wudo is way cool in that retro way.

I think we're all on the same sheet of music WRT Wudo's fairing. Below is a reply I received yesterday from Christopher. I can't help but wonder if we could get a "Group Buy" deal...

>"Chris,

Thank you very much for your inquiry and your interest in our products. The fairing 46-63-89-40 for the R 1200 R is available. We can send it to the USA without any problems. The unpainted fairing costs EUR 334,45 plus shipping. The shipping costs depend on the weight of the package so that we can only calculate them after getting all goods packed. The easiest way to pay is using your Visa or Mastercard number with the according expiration date and control number. With these informations and the delivery address we could deliver in a short time.
With best regards,

Check to see if they are adding the VAT or what customs duties are being applied. The VAT is 17%, but there are ways around that

VAT shoudn't be charged for any overseas sales.. I believe that's been asked before, and VAT was not being charged.

It IS a little costly but I am still keen to get one. I'll just have to pick up some more aluminum cans on the roadside. I wonder what they look like unpainted? I would be proud to dirve the first "rat" R1200R. =P~

Sorry for the thread heist,.. perhaps we should rename this the "Wudo Fairing" thread..

I said WTF, and sent Christopher an email asking if there's a possibility we could get a discount if we bought a number of R12R fairings as part of a Group Buy.

I'll let you know what he says.
