I'm Ducati impaired--what model is that? It's beautiful, in any event.

Congratulations! That is a beautiful bike. I'd get in a lot of trouble on it, though.

Very nice! I am craving another new bike. Can't decide what to get. (have too many already). Maybe the F800GS when it is available. Wow Ducatis are sweet, they sound so good too!

Yes it's a Hypermotard 1100.To say it's the polar opposite in just about every way in comparison to the Beemer is an understatement.

While it's got a nice torquey engine it doesn't like to be under 4000 rpm regardless of what gear you're in.They got the model name right as Hyper it is indeed.

You basically feel like you're sitting on the front wheel and it feels like a feather in comparison to your average large displacement bike. It'll cruise the highway no sweat but with it's lack of fuel range and minimalistic styling a long distance cruiser it ain't.

For me it's the perfect compliment to my R12R as it's got a raw racey uncivilized edge that definitely gets the blood flowing. It's just a blast to get on and blow up 50-60 miles of pure fun and enjoy the sweet music of the exhaust that Ducs are so famous for.

I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking into a second bike.Heck if nothing else go to your friendly Ducati dealer and take one for a demo. ;)

Wow that is pretty dang cool =P~ . My wife took me to St. Louis for a cardinals game for my birthday a couple of weeks ago and as part of the trip swung by Gateway BMW for a look see. They had a Hyper on the floor with like 275 miles on it, evedently scared the bejuzzus out of the first owner who traded it in. They had it priced at around $9,500.00. Mrs. Easy had to quickly escort me from the showroom before I got too stupid and started begging. Man they are cool, enjoy
