Has anyone experienced air bubbles in the site glass? I recently had my oil changed at a local Boston BMW dealer. After getting home I noticed that the site glass was completely full when the bike was on the center stand. When I start the engine the oil level is around the middle of the glass and there are tons of air bubbles. Now I'm wondering if the cause is too much oil or is this an artifact of the BMW boxer engine.

I take it you're riding a R1200R, since your in here...
I've seen bubbles like you describe, I think it's a common thing, and not something to worry about.
I'd imagine Don can give you a much more technical response...
