Hi folks just bought a 2001 Black BMW R1150R ABS model I am picking it up saturday after Bank Holiday weekend this is my 7th BMW the rest have all been GS of various engine sizes but have fancied the R for a while I am really looking forward to riding it

lots of fun to be had on here 
.you say you have had the gs
i down graded to the "r" 
best move for me 
the R rides better than the GS faster/goes round corners better
and is easier to get on and of ENJOY THE RIDE "DO the miles get the smiles" ? so many roads so little time. (silver is the fastest ok)
