Great pics and wicked lean angles, you where the one riding on the Pirelli's wheren't you? If so how are they holding up? Also interesting ways to pack things on your bike, how mutch does the roll on your front fender weigh I'm guessing there's a tent in there.

I think to REALLY create a juxtaposition of riding style and bike style you need to add some tassled leather saddlebags, whitewall tyres and a sissy bar.

Did you scrape the center stand?
The next time you are down here you need to go to Suches Ga. There is a great Two Wheels Only campground and all of the roads to get there are top notch.

I was thinking some tassel's on the bar ends would tie it all together. Mostly black one's with a few white one's to match the stripes.

I have put about 2500 miles on the Pirelli's so far, though I left home 3 weeks ago and won't be home until January, (on tour with TSO) so I won't be riding until then.
They have been wonderful, and directly related to the pics here since they stick like glue... I expect to get about 4500 miles out of the rear, basically the same as any other tire I've ran. I usually don't try and stretch the life out of a tire and replace it when it gets even close to the end..

The tent with the Helen 2 Wheels bag weighs 9.4 pounds, and is pulled back to the forks with Rok-Straps, keeping the weight off the fender. I protect the paint where it rubs with black Gaffer's tape. Without the hard cases where I usually pack my tent with me on this one, I like to do my best to balance the load and keep a low CG, instead of putting it on top of my top-box.

No you didn't tell me about that spot, but I will be sure to get some info from you before my next trip.

No I didn't scrape the center stand, just the foot pegs and valve covers.

What reference of pirellis are you running???
Do you have center stand installed??
I think BMW address the center stand corner dragg issue in this model...

Great shots at the Gap, but I can't seem to get the video clip to open. Is that because you built it on a Mac?

It should open just fine on any computer with Quicktime installed. I'm using a h.264 codec...

TSO? That's got to be an awesome gig. I'm so jealous! We're taking my 7 yr old to his first concert in Moline in January. He loves live music and TSO, not bad for a 7 yr old.

Will you be there?

The hi res site is very nice although it took me a while to download. Have you had the chance to take to school any of our bretheren on R1200Ss or K1200Ss or K1200Rs?

The exhaust system looks very large from the vantage point seen in the video.
