When my camera quit, we stopped at a Dollar store on US 412 for a disposable (5 bucks), Yeah, I know, you get what you pay for.
A good Samaratin stopped & offered to operate the new camera, L to R, RB,Biff's R, Cycle Rob, OU812
This is the Freightliner and owner that Cycle Rob & Biff talked of in an earlier post. I was real happy to see this gas ststion, as my low fuel light had been on for quite a while.
Biff & OU812 cool off a little while talking to the Freightliner guy. (Steve (OU812 was like Superman on that LT, he rides it like a sport bike)
Later Saturday evening Boxer loading up his 1150R & Miz Jen's GS 650 for the long haul back to Georgia.
NoRRmad, of New York City fame is supervising. I believe NoRRmad gets the long distance award for this Bash. He said it was 1350 miles from NYC to beautiful downtown Ozark. A tip of the helmet visor to him.
Mad1150 & Miz Vicki enjoying the cool of the evening, just like real southern folks. They both rode their bikes down from Illinois. I heard something about some guy on an LT kept stalking them, but they managed to lose him somehow. Talk to OU812 for more details.
This bike showed up late Saurday evening. It looked so good, I had to try to get a couple photos of it.
He had just bought it from a guy in Meritt Isl Florida, just up the road from where I live.
He wasn't part of the Bash.
A couple pics of the Sat night group dinner. The guy on the left, in the flannel shirt is Buddy, one of Boxermania's friends. Brought a R1200GS and, I believe,a real nice red R1150 RS to the bash. A real nice guy.

Here you go, DJ. I've got no idea what this is or who's holding it. But they got a doggie box for it, so it must've been good. (We had refrigerators & microwaves in our rooms, so could snack on leftovers later).
Biff's R & RB's Rockster in a rest area in Eastern Arkansas early Sunday morning heading for the North Carolina Mountains for a couple more days of mtn road riding.
Once we got east of the Mississippi River, we got off the interstste & took US 64 accross Tenn. Pleasant, is the best I can come up with to describe this route. Definitely better than fighting the tractor & trailers on the interstate.
Biff coming back to see why the old man wasn't in his reveiw mirror .
We got to my place in Topton NC about 8:30 PM eastern time. It looked mighty inviting after a 740 mile day. Close to 500 miles of which was non-interstate.
Next morning, I had to try out the BMW wheelcleaner that I won in Saturday night'd drawing back in Ozark.
While you're admiring my clean wheel, feel free to also admire the new deck that I've begun to build.
Estimated date of completion for the deck is summer of 2020.
Another one for you DJ. Biff & I could have split this order and still had more than enough to eat.
Pancakes & saugage, in case you can't tell. This in a little lakefront cafe just down the road from the house.
All parties have to end sooner or later. Biff left at 8:30 AM on Weds, it was 22 degrees on the back porch. After doing a little housekeeping, I left at 12:30 PM. I thought it was 38 when I left, but after developing the film, I see it was only 35F. No wonder I was cold.
All in all, it was a fun trip. Sorry the photo's & ride report aren't better quality, but this was a fast paced tour. I averaged close to 400 miles per day for 9 days. Doesn't leave much time for good photos.
