Questions about Remus Hexacone & Arrow exhaust

Post by Westy »

I've got a couple questions on exhaust ( I know, I know, everyones favorite topic)

1. Does anyone know if Remus is going to make the Hexacone for the R1150R?

2. Has anyone had any experience with Arrow exhaust?

Thanks,
Matt

I love it. My buddy is picking up a new F800ST this week and is going to put the hexacone on it, I would love to put one on if Remus makes it for the R1150R.

Sounds like Remus doesn't make the hexacone for the r1150r yet and they may never as far as one of their distributors is concerned.

So...does anyone know anything about the Arrow system?

Minimal, but you get to drop a lot of weight, and they sound and look better...

I wonder about the weight and sound difference between going with the Remus y-pipe and can vs. a short down-pipe straight out of the cat (and just losing the can altogether). Is most of the weight in the exhaust system in the can or in the cat? Or are they similar in weight?

When I had my Rockster, I rode w/ stock cat and no can. Sound was better, cost was perfect.
