Seafoam - It Works!

Post by RonBomb »

My '02 R with 26k on it started pinging recently, especially when turning up the wick. Having seen several postings, I picked up a can of Seafoam. I was skeptical, especially when a product is a multi-purpose gas and oil treatment. I filled up the tank and put half the can in. In less that 20 miles the pinging subsided and the engine is a lot smoother. At 50 miles the pinging is now gone.

It's good stuff. I use more in the winter because I never know when I might be able to ride again and that will stabilize the gas for you.
