Parabellum Scout Fairing

Post by Handsome Jim »

Hi fellas, Back in May I ordered a Parabellum Scout fairing color matched to my black 07 R1200R. Subsequently, in July I changed my mind about the Scout and cancelled the order. Well, someone didn't get the word and yesterday the fairing showed up on my doorstep. I have contacted the vendor and they are sending me a UPS pickup number to send the package back. It occured to me that since the wait for a color matched Scout is over 2 1/2 months someone on this bulletin board would like it. The cost to me would have been $709. I haven't even opened the box so of course the fairing is brand new. If you're interested please contact me and I'll put you in touch with the vendor. You might even get a discount to save them the trouble and expense of the return / resale. My e-mail address is [email protected]

That's the one thing I didn't like about dealing with Parabellum - they charged your credit card as soon as they got the order. I questioned and they said it's their procedure as the fairing is custom made. Glad to see they treated you right and took the fairing back.

I would imagine the next guy down the list will get his a little early.

I didn't actually order the fairing from Parabellum. I bought it through one of their vendors, Sport Touring Accessories in Tapoco NC. Great folks and they have yet to hit my credit card.
