BENT RIM PLEASE HELP!!

So i went out to my bike last night and noticed that my rear rim was VERY bent!!! anyone know what i can do? can i get this fixed if not where do i find a new rear rim? i have a big trip on the 24th so i have to get this done! thanks

Check all the R1150 sites. BMWST; ADVRider; BMWRS. Also check IBMWR.ORG and the BMWMOA and BMW RA forums. And check BeemerBoneyard (first).

Rims in 5" or 5.5" will fit. The only ones you cannot use are early R1100S, the GS and the K bikes. With or without an ABS ring only matters to you if you have ABS.

I believe it will be faster to find a used wheel than to get a repair. There are several east and west coast places that do high quality rim straightening and trueing but they take a month of more for shipping and cost about the same as a used rim.

Where are you? UK or US??

If in the UK then to fix it try Hagons in London, to replace, try Motobins or Motoworks
