Sargeant has delayed seat production

Post by TWI »

I thought the tall seat option would work for me. It is OK, but that is about it. In fact, now that the foam has started to give a little it was becoming a uncomfortable. I put the stock height seat back on.

My hope was that Sargeant would start production of their World Sport seat in the Fall of '07 as they first posted. I checked today and their website now gives a start date of Spring '08. Nuts.

I have to go the Rick Mayer route.

I put a very comfortable 400 miles on my R1200R with a Rick Meyer seat this weekend. North Georga Mountains. As good a time riding as I've ever had.

Thanks for the input. Between getting a useful screen and a comfortable seat, this is a few bucks. OTOH, those things make riding so much more enjoyable.
