Bought my '02 home last July. It was about 300 miles away. I wasn't sure exactly what to expect when I checked it over so I rented a special motorcycle trailer from Uhaul for about $19.00 and got a couple of tie downs for about $10.00. I've got size 12 boots and the shifter and brake levers are just not far out enough for me. I did a search on this board with no luck on the matter. Is there an easy and inexpensive way or parts to extend them forward about two inches? Thanks in advance.

Wouldn't rain get into the stock muffler if it were on the bike?

Actually, no. The pillion's feet would not get hot as you can rotate the slanted part of the end of the tip in any direction you'd like. Also, the pillion's foot peg is far left of the tip. It's difficult to see from the picture. You should see a Dr. about that foot fetish though.

I'll have to leave your luggage question to someone else as I don't have any. The best part is no more sewing machine. Just a low tiger growl.

I actually just ordered these for the K1200RS mirrors on my 1150R. From what other discussion forums have stated, they are a definite improvement. Good luck!

I'm using year 2001 from a K1200RS. Do a search on this board with "K1200RS" and you'll find a lot more valuable info.

Just removed my muffler today. Great sound! I'd like to see the different options of which chrome tips to install. After doing a search here, I only found one, a square one

Airman: I think if you look at the comparison page for both, the +80 will put out more lumens (brightness) than the +50. They are considered one of the best, most efficient bulbs out there. I really don't care if they last me only 10K miles. I have piece of mind seeing and being seen better at night.

I'm keeping one for backup. Thanks anyway. BTW, I'm very happy with the amount of light this bulb puts out.
