softcase for r1150r

Post by Kinnamon »

Hi everyone
I found a used softcase for my r1150r
From the picture it looks fine, no scars, it comes wuth his rack and his locker: 140 euros.

What do you think? Is it worth?
(Consider that the dealer lives not far from me, so I'll get the opportunity to take an actual look at it before buying, paying cash and taking the case home)

Do you think such softcase is useful?
I was looking for something lockable but I ain't desperate for safety, considering that I plan to store not-valuable items in, I mean towels, t-shirts or underwears, objects one wouldn't steal (unless he/she is a feticist).
I already have the BMW side cases and a aftermarket tank bag, but I was looking for a little extra space.
I definetely do not want to buy a hard case, I don't like the aftermarket ones, unfortunately I never found one I like, and I never forund an original BMW either.

Any suggestion?

Thanks!

I use the Cortech tail bag and am about to purchase the two matching side bags. They are very durable and look very cool on the 1150R. They also detach quickly and easily. Take a look here:
