Re: Xenon HID
Ummm..... Don't waste your money. All explained very well at: http://www.danielsternlighting.com/tech/bulbs/Hid/conversions/conversions.html The problem is getting higher spec H11 bulbs. The only option I was able to find were Osram Night Breakers from http://www.powerbulbs.com . Service from them w...

Re: Xenon light!
Umm... Yes, no, maybe.......... I believe in this context HID and Xenon lights can be used interchangeably. As I understand it, the the HID light source is an electric arc in a quartz glass bulb filled with xenon gas: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xenon_arc_lamp . As these lights appear to be quite e...

Re: Givi V46 Topcase Question
It's all really easy.
If the the top box is all you want, then the the Givi Monorack, 688FZ, is all you need.
I've got the arrangement on my R12R. 4(?) bolts and you're done.
Aesthetics might be questionable, but where else do you pack your lunch?
Cheers,
Ivars

Thanks for your best wishes. Commiserations to you northern hemisphere folk wrapped in the darkness of winter. Mind you, when it's over 40degC/105degF outside  , your boots are awash with sweat and your eyeballs feel as though their shrivelling, dreams of ending up headfirst in a snowdrift hav...

Lurker no more.
Greetings all! I have been one of those hopeless lurkers for far too long, so I've taken the plunge and joined your merry band. Haven't been riding for too long - maybe 5 years and the whole thing might have a "mid life crisis" smell about it. Never mind, I've embraced the whole business a...
