I'd add the cap #36317665843 for $9.43 to the rear wheel; my dealer told me that it was only added at the late models and protects from water/rust.

At 6'0", the touring windscreen (largest BMW windscreen) caused a lot of bad air around my helmet. Consequently, the noise and buffeting was too much to handle. When I switched to the sport screen (mid-sized BMW windscreen), my neck and helmet were in clean air which made a world of difference...
