Blood, sweat or tears, usually at least two of the three.

Re: Horn relay question
Yeah, yeah, I know it's pathetic ordering a custom fitted mounting bracket, but I'm at a point in my life where it makes more sense to spend 20 minutes researching something on the internet , dropping the eight bucks on the Amex and have it show up on my doorstep four days later than drive 15 minute...

Mounting Options for Stebel Nautilus Compact
Hello-
I am getting ready to order a Stebel horn, and am trying to find out what mounting brackets others have used. There are quite a few options for mounting the Nautilus on the twisted throtle site. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Re: Horn relay question
Hey Lion-
I am wondering if you know what sized/shaped bracket you used to mount the stebel....There are quite a few options at twisted throttle, and I am trying to only order from them once. Thanks!

Re: What would you do?
Either option is good. A fully paid for bike/car/house, etc. is pretty sweet. The money you make on the interest from the sale won't make up for the depreciation hit you will take. On the other hand, one less thing to think about while you are gone, and a new bike upon your return from the sand box ...

Re: Rescue project
That would be a hacked up Ed 80. The forks are blue and the piece around the bmw logo is black. Nice rattle can paint job on what used to be a white tank. It could be diamond in the rough, but my guess is that it is just rough. You can do much better for the $$.

Odyssey PC 680 VS. PC 680MJ Battery
And now onto batteries........ Researching the forum and the net at large, it seems that the Odyssey may be the way to go (according to most/some?) for a replacement battery. The MJ seems to be a little bigger (encased). Has anyone fit it in the Rockster? Some have not been able to get the 680 batte...

Re: Auxiliary Input Jump Start?
No such luck on the jump start lug. From what I have been reading, they were put on mid-year, and it would appear my bike was produced prior to that. From what I have found, the positive jump cable can be hooked directly up to the positive lead on the starter. If this battery doesn't charge today, I...

Re: Auxiliary Input Jump Start?
"Do not use the aux. input to jump the bike. This connection is a high current one that goes directly to your starter motor."
I suspected as much. Thanks.

Jump starting directly to the starter...
Being new to the whole auxilary input charging system on the '04....... Is it possible to "Jump Start" the bike through the Aux plug? Despite a fairly new battery (15 months) and religious home use of an OEM trickle charger, the Rockster was dead as a door nail this morning at work after b...

Re: What topcases / racks can be used with BMW system cases
I have the 80th as well. I went with the Givi mount and Monokey 46 and have been pretty happy with it. I can send pics if you want them, but I guess it is pretty much up to personal preference. One thing I noticed from both the pictures prior to purchase and the actual set up on my bike is that the ...

Re: Rockster T-Shirt
Very nice. The small design on the front looks killer. I couldn't find the one with the centered design on the back though. Does it have a different link?

Re: Rockster T-Shirt
Or perhaps even a small version of the same?
If it can be done I would be stoked, as I have never been much for the front design on shirts (Even one as cool as his one).

Re: Rockster T-Shirt
Great job on the shirt. Any chance that they can do the design on the back?
