Re: Lowering rear

Yeah the OEM plastic covered thing. I rode from Wisconsin to Pennsylvania then back home to California with the Zega bolted direct to it, but it does wobble a bit. When I fit the side Zegas I won't have the rack anyway as its part of the side pannier mounts. I also carry a bag across the passenger s...

if you're looking to lower your ride-height, I'd be happy to swap shocks with you!

Re: Rockster Luggage

Another cut in, hope this helps someone. My 2004 Rockster came with system cases. The narrow (city cases?) from a 2004 RT-P fit as followes. The right case fits perfectly but the left side footpeg bracket is offset too far out and the muffler is in the way. Solution- if the muffler is moved down (or...

Re: Rockster Handlebars to far away

I used Pro Taper 7/8" to one inch 1/8 adapters. About $40. Then I fitted Pro Taper Fatties. ($75) I used Pastrana ATV Race bend. (It's the highest most swept back Pro Taper alloy I could find). You have to drill holes in the new bars for heated grip wires and I used the last inch or so off my O...

Re: Handlebars too Wide.

I put Pro Taper fattie adapters and Pro Taper Fattie Contour bars on mine. You have to drill two holes in the bars for heated grip wires and you have to use the couple of inches off the end of your OEM bars to access heated grip wires. You pin the end of the bars in. They are not structural, they ju...

Re: Alternative side panniers

I have both a 2004 Rockster and a 2001 R1150GS in our stable. The Touratech pannier mounts and therefore TT panniers fit RIGHT on to the Rockster. So any mounts that fit the GS will fit the Rockster. The Rockster has the SYSTEM CASES and they are all the same except R1100S and of course exhaust cut ...

Re: Tall seat required

I'd trade my seat for a low seat. Can you look at the numbers on the seat and I'll look at mine and we can compare. I have an 04 Rockster, I'm pretty sure it's either a stock seat or a high seat.
