Re: Anyone Used This Shield?

Looks similar to the Wunderlich I purchased, though the cut outs seem to obviate the need to move the turn signals. About the same price as the Wunderlich.

Wunderlich Vario Ergo Screen for 2011+
There is a fairly good picture on the Wunderlich site.
It takes a little fiddling to mount the screen and moving the turn signals, but it all comes together pretty well.

Re: New to this forum but not new to BMW!

I replaced the sport screen with a Wunderlich Ergo Touring screen. Very pleased. Takes a bit to figure out installation, but fits me well (5'11", Comfort seat).

Fuel Gauge and Mile to Empty

I have a 2011 R1200R that is just a delight, but on a recent trip my fuel gauge and computer computation of mile to go quit functioning. Brought it back this week to my local dealer who replaced the 'fuel gauge' strip that is inside the gas tank. (A plastic strip that looks like a printed circuit bo...

Re: Help with windshield install on a '12 R12R

I have recently installed a Wunderlich Touring screen and had to remove the stock sport screen. I found that by removing the head lamp I could install the trim piece and still have access to the bolts that mount the screen (sport or Wundrlich) to the support bracket. Hope this helps.

Re: First gear selection

Also have noted the 'problem', but also have found a 'double clutch' or slow release solves the 'problem'. Minor annoyance for an otherwise superior bike.

Re: Wind Screen...Help

Ordered today a 2011 Wunderlich Ergo Vario screen . Will try to update about installation and effectiveness. I'm amazed at how little buffeting I experience even with the small 'sport screen' that same OEM with the bike.

Re: Wind Screen...Help

New to the forum and new to the R1200R. Just purchased a 2011 (to replace a K1200GT--wanted something a little smaller, but still tour capable). So, I, too am looking for a 'touring' screen. Can someone tell me what the Don C block referred to in the posts is? Any word on Wunderlich's development of...
