Conti Road Attacks nice for 5k miles
Happy with the grip of the Road Attacks but need new tires after 5,000 miles of regular riding (solo). Based on recommendations here, i am eager to try on the Pilot Road 2's.

Hey Pyrate - I just bought a 2002 Roadster Sunday to add to my 2005. Rode the '02 from Dulles VA to Boston 538 miles in 10 hours w no problems, but noticed a couple small differences. stained engine cases
my 2005 boxer sprung a leak one day on the right side fuel line (petcock or whatever) and left indelible pee-coloured stains on my engine. an otherwise mint bike now looks permanently like somone took a whizz on it. i've seen this on other boxers for sale too. the only solution i've heard so far is ...

Re: New Tires
replacing my Z6's - liked 'em but have experienced mild sliding when stopping straight up when wet - and considering Continental Road Attacks or Sport Attacks ... does anyone know the difference or have experience with either? 2005 R1150R

Dead Batt
2005 R1150R (US) ... too much sitting this winter left me dead ... I have a trickle charger ... can I charge or jump? (battery seems buried behind air-cooler ducts, etc ...)
