GA Ride Report

Post by 12bar1 »

:D Well we just got back from a long weekend in Western Georgia. We stayed at Florence Marina State Park in one of their cottages. It was very nice and for three days it was less than $300. The roads around there are great. There was almost no traffic and the surface was smooth as glass. There were lots of sweepers but few sharp turns. We trailered our bikes using the Kendon trailer and it was excelent. It carried the bikes over all the bumps and holes on I 75 with no problems. This would make a great place for a gathering the cottages are all 2 bedroom with 2 queen sized beds in each room and 2 bath with full kitchens. There are any number of state historic sites and parks within 50 or so miles from there. Can anyone say Beakster Bash South Ya'll??

GET AFTER IT!!! It's a wonderful idea!

You will have to make your own shirts, though!

Unless you can talk Dean-O into changing it at the last minute!
