Has anyone here had to remove the rear wheel on their R1200R?
Are there any tricks to it?

I removed my rear wheel this week to install a hugger from Nippy Normans. It was pretty straighforward.
I used the tools provided in the tool kit underneath the seat. With the bike turned off and on the center stand, I shifted the transmission into gear to keep the wheel from rotating when loosening the bolts.
I made sure to keep the wrench away from the rim at all times, i.e. pointed toward the center of the wheel, so I didn't scratch it. Five bolts in all.
Rotating the exhaust out of the way was also just as easy.

I'll post some picks this weekend. After I got the wheel off (and scratched it .... Oh Well..) I found that I should have removed the two very easy to access bolts that hold on the rear brake caliper. If you need to change the wheel on the road I'd do it like this.
