Mines a 04' r1150r and I have the 4 spark.DJ Downunder wrote:Mike may be right..but I thought it was more about single spark for the R1150R vs twin spark for the R1150RA....but I'm just guessing..

Well mines an 02 and it's an 8 valve..Mines a 04' r1150r and I have the 4 spark.
I think you are right.I thought the "A" just described a bike with ABS.
Wow!! I learn something new every day. I assumed the "A" meant ABS. I just (for the first time) checked the documentation on my, non ABS, 2004 R1150R and lo and behold it says it is R1150RA.towerworker wrote:Mine is an '03 single spark/ no abs. When I bought it new 4 yrs ago and financed it with BMW the statement I got each month showed it as an R1150RA. Not sure the significance.
The important thing is that it has two jugs. Seems to me that there is a natural order there.
