Yesterday I did a ride down to 'Sunny Side' beach...it was going to be a beautiful day..and a bit of a stinker at 33c (92F).

Sunny Side's one of Melbourne's nudist beaches..I thought a pic of a naked bike at a nudist beach would be a good idea..what other reason would I go there?

I stopped for breakie at the local Mc Cafe at Frankstone..it was nice of them to have a special parking spot just for me.. :D

Image

I'm not sure if this is a river or just a storm water drain..worth a pic anyway.

Image

I headed down to check out the beach at Frankstone..there was a old couple having their breakie on the beach at a beach side cafe..this is looking south.

Image

Now looking North to wards Melbourne..On a clear day you would be able to see the buildings in the city sticking up..but today was very hazy.

Image

This is the local boat ramp at Frankstone...I don't think I've ever seen it so calm.

Image

While at the boat ramp I watched this local guy walking out for his morning swim...It was so hot already I could have jumped in myself.

Image

Heading south I stopped at a high spot for another pic looking out over the water..It was hard to see where the water meets the sky.

Image

Another beach and a group of school children having a lesson in kyaking...geees..they never did that when I was a school.

Image

Well....here it is..Sunny Side beach...there were some beautiful young beauties sun baking down on the beach..I took a pic for you guys.

Sorry...my finger must have got over the lens..what a time for that to happen.

Image

Back on the road and looking for a cold shower.

Image

I found this nice spot on my way home.

Image

Humpty Dumpty sat on the wall...geeees that water looked nice and cool.

Image

Time to get wet and cool off.

Image

I walked around in the rock pools.

Image

There were these little starfish every where in the water.

Image

I think they are called biscuit starfish..because they're about the size of a biscuit...and no I didn't taste one.. :D

Image

It was soooooo good to cool down..I could have sat there all day...I hope you guys enjoyed my ride pictures.

Nice report again DJ. I too took a ride to the coast the other day, but the Gulf Coast of Texas doesn't look anything like that! I'm ashamed to post the pictures of our coast.

Cute starfish too!
Thanks for the report.

Love the starfish. These must be good starfish instead of the bad ones you shared with us last ride post.
I bet I could spend all day poking around in those tide pools and never want for a thing.

Thank you again for sharing your pictures of your day off.
It looks like You have more fun in one day than many of us have in a week off!

Your warm sunny posts give me strength that we too will have 90 degree days again some day.

A million times....
thanks!

Carol

ps

DANG thats a good looking bike!

Thanks guys..and gals.

Very funny Den...

Carol they are the good little starfish..and I was surprised to see so many.

Gypsy I'd still love to see pictures of your coast..all beaches are good in my eyes.

Sunbeemer...those Cruiser mirrors will be back on soon...I had a problem with a glass (the mirror bit) coming out..I have heard of it happening on these mirrors before..but a few friends have had them on their bikes for years without a problem..I'm just waiting on a new glass to stick back in.
