BMW R1200R R1150R/T F800 K1200R R1100R/T R1250R RnineT Message Board

Well, after thinking about this for a couple of months, reading lots, narrowing the list down to what I was really after, the R1200R won out over the new Tiger and a couple of others. Keeping two fairly expensive bikes on call during our relatively short riding season doesn't seem the most practical thing to do but I just can't bring myself to sell my beloved VRSCR. I guess I'll see over the next few months how many miles I put on the Rod...until then the Street Rod will have a stablemate in the garage.

Ended up buying a black R1200R cw ABS, alarm, heated grips, sport shield, power socket, center stand, rear rack and top box. I decided to see if I had a real need for the side luggage and if I do that can be a gift from my wife once she forgives me for the second bike.

Mark: Congrats on the new RR. You're going to love it. My guess is that the Street Rod won't see nearly the mileage that the R does.
