Silly question...
Anyine know if the Vario side case & top case systems will work on an R1200R ?

Dunno but might be a good idea to ask on a GS forum if the R1200RT cases will fit on a R1200GS if so these bags will also fit on the R1200R.

The R is made to use the RT/ST cases!

Yeah I knew that already but we wanted to know if the Vario cases would fit the R as well. The vario cases can be used on the R1200GS so if they can use the R1200RT cases ass well(or have a way to use them) on the GS then the Vario cases are(can probibly be made) useable on the R1200R. As the GS community is about the biggest group of BMW owners out there and known to expiriment with loads of bits and pieces on the GS they looked to me the ideal group of people to awnser this question.
