I guess it has more to do with what kind of roads you are using rather than age.

Mr. Downunder makes a pretty good point -
This is the bike the GSs shoulda been all along, and it may also be the
one to pry me away from my Rock.
It's like BMW reached in and picked my pocket - that is,
if there'd been any money in there to begin with...
But why get an R1200R when they offer THIS?

And wht is that lttle gizmo, on the left fork just above the front fender?
It looks like a sensor of some kind...Nooo, don't tell me that it is one of those ice on the road sensors!!!!
OK, Pepe do your homework and find out.........

I don't think it's anything but a cable guide for the front brake cable.

I don't get why people like like the HP2 so much. It's an offroad bike thats way to heavy and clumpsy for any real offroad or supermotard driving.
